The twenty-fourth day of our commentary from the International Formation house in Ann Arbor, MI following our Meditations for the 40 Days. John Yocum comments on Psalm 27.

Our desire is to dwell with God and to behold his beauty in his dwelling place.

⁴ One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. – Psa 27:4 RSV

John is a lifelong committed brother from Jackson, Michigan. After having spent 15 years in the UK and 7 years in the Philippines, he returned to the US in 2011. John has degrees in History and Philosophy and a Doctorate in Theology from The University of Oxford. He has taught Theology at Oxford, at Loyola School of Theology in Manila and at the Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, Michigan.
