The twenty-ninth day of our commentary from the International Formation house in Ann Arbor, MI following our Meditations for the 40 Days. John Yocum comments on Psalm 40.

Those who know the goodness of the Lord desire to do his will. This psalm is a prophecy of the Son of God who desires to do what God wants—in this case, to offer his life for the sins of the world (see Heb. 10:5–10).

7 Then I said, “Lo, I come; in the roll of the book it is written of me; 8 I delight to do thy will, O my God; thy law is within my heart.” – Psa 40:7-8 RSV

Wed 3/29 | Ps. 40:7–8
