The twenty-first day of our commentary from the International Formation house in Ann Arbor, MI following our Meditations for the 40 Days. John Yocum comments both on Psalm 42 and 43.

Once we know God, we have a desire for him that will only be satisfied when we see him face to face, and worship him in his throne room.

1As a hart longs for flowing streams, so longs my soul for thee, O God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God? – Psa 42:1-2 RSV

3 Oh send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me, let them bring me to thy holy hill and to thy dwelling! 4 Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and I will praise thee with the lyre, O God, my God. – Psa 43:3-4 RSV

Tue 3/21 | Ps. 42:1–2; 43:3–4
