More than 30 years ago a group of young men, moved by the Holy Spirit, came together with a common vision for a life of Christian service to God; living in simplicity and in community. Many others have joined us, and today our collective response to God’s call is our common life in The Servants of the Word.
We are an interdenominational group of over 70 men throughout the world, serving in many different countries. Our work consists of youth work amongst college age and high school youth, speaking writing and fostering Christian community.
Men join the Servants of the Word because of a carefully considered conviction that they are called to be one of God's servants. Our lives are not our own, they belong to God. As a response to what God has done for us in Christ, we have consecrated our lives to him. We wish to see His name glorified, to be messengers of the salvation he offers to everyone.
