As a group we feel a special call to communicate God's Word and to help strengthen the quality of committed Christian life among His people.  Our work takes many forms but most often involves evangelism, teaching from a strong Scriptural basis, and help Christians to live well in the midst of the world around us.

Evangelism and Youth Outreach
Many Servants of the Word are engaged in mission to young people.  This includes teaching, summer missions and evangelism among high school and university students.  Our brothers have had personal contact with thousands of young people who have found a new or renewed faith in Jesus Christ.

Building Christian Community
Living a dedicated Christian Life in the World has never been easy.  Strong fellowship with other Christians is a key to spiritual growth and maturity.  From our beginning and to today, Servants of the Word support the ideals of committed Christian fellowship by helping to build and support a network of family-based Christian communities called The Sword of the Spirit.  These communities offer both help and support to their members, and are a source of strength and renewal for many other Christians.
